Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Calabrian chili paste
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  1. 1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. 2 Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

  6. 6 Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet.
  7. 7 Toss the spaghetti with the chili-garlic oil, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
