01Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using RecipeBox AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
02Description of service
RecipeBox AI is a recipe management application. The service includes:
03User accounts
Account creation
You may create an account using email/password, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
04Subscriptions & payments
Premium features
Some features require a paid subscription (“Pro”). Current pricing is shown before you purchase — in the App, or on our pricing page. A Pro subscription applies to your account, so it works on iPhone, Android and the web regardless of where you bought it.
Billing
Where you subscribe determines who bills you:
- In the iPhone app — billed through the Apple App Store, subject to Apple's terms.
- In the Android app — billed through Google Play, subject to Google's terms.
- On this website — billed by us through Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price until cancelled. Prices are shown inclusive of any taxes we are required to collect. We will give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.
Website prices are set in pounds sterling (GBP). If you are outside the United Kingdom, checkout will display and charge the equivalent amount in your local currency, including any currency conversion fee, and will show you that amount before you confirm. Because renewals are converted at the exchange rate applying on the renewal date, the amount charged in your local currency may vary between billing periods even though the GBP price is unchanged.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time, in the same place you subscribed:
- App Store — Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
- Google Play — Payments & subscriptions in the Play Store.
- Website — the Manage subscription button on your account page.
We cannot cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription on your behalf — only Apple and Google can. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro until then.
Refunds
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded under their policies, and requests must go to them. For purchases made on this website, contact hello@recipeboxai.app. Where you have a statutory right to cancel or to a refund, nothing here limits it.
If your subscription ends
Your recipes are never deleted when a subscription ends. Your account returns to the free plan, where the ten most recent recipes (plus any bonus slots you have earned) stay available and the rest are locked until you subscribe again.

06Intellectual property
Our content
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by RecipeBox AI and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your content
You retain ownership of recipes and content you create or import. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process your content to provide our services.
07AI-generated content
Nutrition estimates and recipe transformations are generated by AI and should be used as guidelines only.
Always verify nutrition information for medical or dietary purposes. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content.
08Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
09Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecipeBox AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
12Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
