Ingredients

  • 4 pounds clams scrubbed clean
  • 6 ears sweet corn husks removed and halved
  • 1 1/2 pounds small potatoes quartered
  • 1 pound smoked sausage cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted

Instructions

  1. 1 Fill a large pot with 2 inches of water and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. 2 Add the white wine and Old Bay seasoning to the pot.
  3. 3 Place the potatoes in a steamer basket over the boiling liquid, cover, and steam for 10 minutes.
  4. 4 Add the sausage pieces on top of the potatoes, cover, and steam for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Add the clams on top of the sausage, cover, and steam until they open, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. 6 Add the corn pieces on top, cover, and steam for another 5 minutes or until the corn is tender.
  7. 7 Remove the steamer basket and transfer the contents to a large serving platter.
  8. 8 Pour the melted butter over the clams, corn, sausage, and potatoes.
  9. 9 Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
  10. 10 Serve immediately with extra melted butter on the side if desired.
