Ingredients

  • 4 slices rustic Italian bread 1-inch thick
  • 2 cups ripe tomatoes diced
  • 1 clove garlic halved
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
