Ingredients

  • 1 loaf baguette sliced
  • 4 cups cherry tomatoes diced
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2 Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. 3 Brush each slice with a little olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. 4 In a medium bowl, combine diced cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  5. 5 Once the bread is toasted, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
