Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 3 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrot julienned
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1 In a large bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce, gochujang, and grated ginger. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. 2 Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. 3 Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. 4 Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. 5 Add the shredded cabbage and julienned carrots to the pan. Stir-fry everything together for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. 6 Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and toss to combine.
  7. 7 Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. 8 Serve the stir-fry hot with steamed rice or noodles on the side.
