Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves loosely packed
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. 2 Add minced garlic to the wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. 3 Add the ground pork to the wok, breaking it up into small pieces, and cook until it starts to brown.
  4. 4 Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and chili flakes. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5 Add Thai basil leaves to the pork mixture and stir-fry until the leaves wilt.
  6. 6 In a separate pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Crack eggs into the pan and fry until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.
  7. 7 Serve the Thai basil pork over a bed of cooked jasmine rice and top with a fried egg.
