Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork ribs trimmed
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 3 stalks green onions sliced

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2 In a large bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, gochujang, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  3. 3 Place the ribs in a large baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. 4 Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
  5. 5 Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for an additional 15 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  6. 6 Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes. Slice into individual ribs.
  7. 7 Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the ribs before serving.
