Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

Raita

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cucumber grated
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder toasted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1 In a large bowl, combine plain yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and red chili powder. Mix well to create a marinade.
  2. 2 Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat them thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. 3 Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. 4 Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. 5 Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are cooked through and have a nice glaze.
  6. 6 While the wings are baking, prepare the raita. In a bowl, combine plain yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped mint leaves, toasted cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
  7. 7 Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. 8 Serve the tandoori-glazed chicken wings hot with a side of refreshing cucumber raita.
