Chicken Wings
2 pounds chicken wings
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons tandoori masala
1 tablespoon lemon juicefreshly squeezed
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Raita
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup cucumbergrated
1/4 cup mint leaveschopped
1/4 teaspoon cumin powdertoasted
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1In a large bowl, combine plain yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and red chili powder. Mix well to create a marinade.
2Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat them thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
3Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
4Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
5Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are cooked through and have a nice glaze.
6While the wings are baking, prepare the raita. In a bowl, combine plain yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped mint leaves, toasted cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
7Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
