Ingredients

  • 400 grams paneer cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. 1 In a large bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
  2. 2 Add paneer cubes to the marinade and gently coat them. Ensure all pieces are evenly covered. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. 3 Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates or pan to prevent sticking.
  4. 4 Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers, leaving a bit of space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. 5 Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is cooked and has grill marks.
  6. 6 Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. 7 Serve hot with a side of mint chutney and lemon wedges.
