Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 400 grams paneer cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • to taste salt

Vegetable Ingredients

  • 1 medium green bell pepper cut into cubes
  • 1 medium red bell pepper cut into cubes
  • 1 medium onion cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. 1 In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, oil, and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.
  2. 2 Add the paneer cubes and mix to coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. 3 Preheat a grill or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  4. 4 Thread the marinated paneer cubes, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating between paneer and vegetables.
  5. 5 Place the skewers on the grill or pan and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden brown and the vegetables are tender.
  6. 6 Remove from the grill and serve hot, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh coriander leaves.
