Ingredients
Main Ingredients
8 pieces chicken thighsskinless, boneless
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon fresh gingergrated
3 cloves garlicminced
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepperfreshly ground
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Garnish
2 tablespoons green onionschopped
1 tablespoon sesame seedstoasted
Instructions
1In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
2Place the chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage to coat the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
3Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken thighs from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use.
4Place the chicken thighs in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked through.
5While the chicken is cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer until it thickens into a glaze, about 5 minutes.
6Once the chicken is cooked, pour the thickened glaze over the chicken thighs in the skillet. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
7Transfer the glazed chicken thighs to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
8Serve hot with steamed rice or your favorite side dish.
