Ingredients

  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves fresh

  • 2 medium red chilies sliced

Instructions

  1. 1 Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Add rice and 1 1/2 cups of water to a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
  3. 3 Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced chilies, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
