Soy Glaze

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 3 stalks scallions sliced

Instructions

  1. 1 Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, combine cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss until evenly coated.
  3. 3 Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. 4 In the same skillet, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. 5 Add soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
