Broth Ingredients
8 cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon sake
3 cloves garlicminced

Instructions
1In a large pot, combine chicken stock, soy sauce, mirin, sake, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
2Reduce the heat to low and let the broth simmer for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
3Meanwhile, prepare a pot of boiling water. Gently place eggs in the water and boil for 6 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. Remove and place in an ice bath to cool.
4In another pot, cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
5Remove ginger and garlic from the broth and add sesame oil. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional soy sauce if needed.
6Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half.
7Divide cooked noodles into 4 bowls. Ladle the hot broth over the noodles.
8Top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg, nori strips, bamboo shoots, scallions, and toasted sesame seeds.
