Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F/45°C)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil plus more for greasing
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1 In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2 Add the flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3 Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4 Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. 5 Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
