Method
- 01Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
- 02In a large non-stick pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- 03Add tofu cubes to the pan and cook until golden and crispy on all sides, about 6-8 minutes. Remove tofu and set aside.
- 04In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 05Add snow peas to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- 06Return the tofu to the pan.
- 07In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Pour over tofu and snow peas.
- 08Toss everything together until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu and vegetables evenly, about 1 minute.
- 09Remove from heat and serve immediately.
