Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Balsamic Reduction

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2 In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  3. 3 Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. 4 Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy and browned, stirring halfway through.
  5. 5 While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the balsamic reduction. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine balsamic vinegar and honey.
  6. 6 Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook until the liquid has reduced by half and has thickened to a syrupy consistency, about 10-15 minutes.
  7. 7 Remove the balsamic reduction from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  8. 8 Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted to your liking, remove them from the oven.
  9. 9 Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the roasted Brussels sprouts before serving.
  10. 10 Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy Brussels sprouts with balsamic reduction.
