Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Ginger-Soy Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. 2 In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. 3 Spread the broccoli on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are charred and crispy.
  4. 4 While the broccoli is roasting, prepare the glaze by combining soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Mix well.
  5. 5 Once the broccoli is done roasting, remove it from the oven and transfer it to a large serving bowl.
  6. 6 Pour the ginger-soy glaze over the hot broccoli and toss to coat evenly.
  7. 7 Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
