Method
- 01In a large bowl, combine the crumbled tofu, julienned carrot, sliced red bell pepper, shredded cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped cilantro. Mix well to combine.
- 02Fill a shallow dish with warm water and add the turmeric powder. Stir until the turmeric is dissolved.
- 03Dip one sheet of rice paper into the turmeric water for about 10-15 seconds until it softens. Carefully remove and lay it flat on a clean surface.
- 04Place about 2 tablespoons of the tofu mixture in the center of the softened rice paper. Fold the sides in, and then roll up tightly to form a wrap. Repeat with the remaining rice paper sheets and filling.
- 05Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the wrapped rice papers seam side down in the pan.
- 06Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the wraps are golden brown and crispy.
- 07In a small bowl, whisk together the dipping sauce ingredients: soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and chili flakes.
- 08Serve the crispy turmeric rice paper wraps immediately with the dipping sauce on the side.
