Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  1. 1 In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2 Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring the fillets are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3 Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C).
  4. 4 Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the salmon from sticking.
  5. 5 Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade and place them on the grill, skin side down. Discard the leftover marinade.
  6. 6 Grill the salmon for about 6 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has grill marks.
  7. 7 Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. 8 Garnish with additional fresh dill and lemon slices if desired. Serve immediately.
