Hummus Ingredients
2 cups cooked chickpeasdrained and rinsed
1 cup roasted red pepperschopped
1/4 cup tahini
2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt

Pita Chips Ingredients
4 pieces whole wheat pita breadcut into wedges
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2Place the pita wedges on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with dried oregano and salt, and toss to coat evenly.
3Bake the pita wedges for 12-15 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from oven and let them cool.
4In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, roasted red peppers, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
5Process the mixture until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add a tablespoon of water if the hummus is too thick and process again.
6Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
7Serve the hummus with the cooled pita chips on the side for dipping.
